FAQS

Answers to the most common questions about our rings, how to care for them, and what to expect when ordering from a one-person workshop.

Ordering & Customization

How long will it take to receive my ring?

Each ring is handmade to order, one at a time. Please allow up to 5 days for crafting after your order is placed. Once it's finished, your ring will ship out using the shipping method you selected at checkout.

Can I customize my ring further?

Since this is a one-person operation, expanding customization takes time, but I’m always working on new options behind the scenes. As the business grows, I hope to offer even more ways to make your ring truly your own.

Some of the future options I'm hoping to offer include:

· Black tungsten carbide ring cores

· Hammered finishes instead of beveled edges

· 8mm width rings for a more substantial profile

· Fully exposed wood wraps (wood on the outside, not just inlayed)

Can I make changes to my order after placing it?

If you need to make changes, please reach out as soon as possible. If I haven’t started crafting your ring yet, I’ll do my best to accommodate.

How thick are the rings?

6mm rings are approximately 2.4mm thick, while 4mm rings are approximately 2mm thick

Materials & Craftsmanship

What are your rings made of?

Each ring is made with a tungsten carbide core and a real wood inlay. The inlay is sealed with CA glue, making it highly water-resistant and durable.

Is tungsten carbide durable?

Most certainly. Tungsten carbide is among the hardest materials used in jewelry, resistant to scratches except from diamonds or carbide tools. However, it can still crack or chip if subjected to strong impacts, so we recommend handling it with care.

Are your rings hypoallergenic?

Absolutely. All rings are 100% cobalt-free, hypoallergenic, and will not tarnish or discolor your skin.

Will the wood inlay wear out?

The wood is fully sealed with a durable, highly water-resistant finish. Just avoid harsh chemicals (like acetone or dish soap), and it’ll stay beautiful for years.

How should I clean my ring?

A quick wipe with the included microfiber cloth is usually all it needs. Under normal use, Tungsten carbide keeps its shine for years, and the CA wood finish holds up well with normal use.

If needed, you can gently polish the inlay channel with any plastic-safe or car polish.

Can I wear my ring in water?

Yes, the finish is highly water-resistant, and everyday contact with water (like handwashing or rain) is totally fine. Just avoid submerging it for long periods of time, after all, it’s still jewelry.

If your ring comes into contact with saltwater or harsh chemicals, rinse it off and dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth.

Returns & Exchanges

What if I ordered the wrong size or wood type?

No worries. The easiest way to handle exchanges is to request a refund for the original ring and place a new order with the correct details.

How do I request a return or exchange?

You can do this directly through your customer account, no need to email me first. Once approved, you will receive all the return instructions.

Do I need to pay for return shipping?

Yes, since this is a one-person business, I ask that customers cover the cost of sending rings back. This helps prevent abuse of the return system, which can become costly for a small shop like mine.

When will I receive my refund?

Refunds are processed once I receive the ring back and confirm it’s in its original, undamaged condition.
